There's More to Iceland Than Volcanic Ash! Two Fabulous Icelandic Artists Featured
While the Habs pushed the Pens to a game 7 (gotta Stay Positive sang the Hold Steady over the airwaves as the Habs posted the win!)the show tonight featured two Icelandic artists that I ventured to Montreal to see last week. Jonsi of Sigur Ros put on a spectacular show on Sunday night past at Metropolis. If you ever get a chance to see him perform... take it. Meanwhile visit his website jonsi.com and get up to date with his music and other goodies. Johann Johannsson also hails from Iceland. He put on a show with a string quartet and two guys on Mac laptops. A wonderful show. He has a new album out that is the soundtrack to a film called Varmints.
