He has a background in media and technology and has had experience working on creative and engaging advocacy campaigns at the government, industry and non-profit levels. His past experience in e-commerce, SME growth marketing, public advocacy/education and corporate relations, has developed into a capacity for evolving plans and campaigns aimed at achieving measurable results in the tri-sectoral implementation of targeted digital and social media strategies. More recently he has refocused his career towards development focused specifically on projects/initiatives designed for measurable maximum social impact and geared towards more effective, sustainable and affordable solutions for the intended end-users. About Sean: Sean is the author of three books: the theremin novel Us Conductors, first published in 2014, The Wagers, a novel about luck, published in 2019, and the new novel Do You Remember Being Born, a book about family, poetry, work and AI. In 2003, he founded the pioneering mp3 blog Said the Gramophone. His writing has also been published by The New Yorker, The Guardian, The Believer, Pitchfork, The Walrus, Wire, Rolling Stone, The Observer, Hazlitt and The Baffler, and in music columns for McSweeney's and The Globe & Mail. His zines IT LASTS FOREVER and IF YOU'RE FEELING SINISTER can be found at bookstores and on photocopy racks in Montreal.
