Ottawa poet David O’Meara sat down with Nisga'a poet, Griffin Poetry Prize winner, and U of Alberta Prof, Jordan Abel, discussing his 2021 publication, NISHGA. Nishga is a groundbreaking, deeply personal, and devastating autobiographical meditation that attempts to address the complicated legacies of Canada's residential school system and contemporary Indigenous existence.
