Dr. Vincent Andrisani joins me today to talk about his work bridging sounds and places. He's a prof at Carleton, and I first met him through his work with Dr. Chiara Del Gaudio on the Urban Imaginaries project. He's also a fellow CKCU producer and host. We'll hear about some early insights from the Urban Imaginaries project, and start to get to know his work. This episode features an audio essay by Claudia Gleason, as well as an audio documentary - “The Sweetest Sound In The City” - that Vincent Andrisani produced for the open-source, online textbook titled “Food Studies: Matter, Meaning, Movement” (2022)
