Tom Marcantonio, Arthur McGregor (Gil's Hootenanny), Andrea Usworth, Robbie Anderman

Hour 1: Tom Marcantonio gives some common sense ideas about growing food locally, creating community gardens and designing community hubs. Arthur McGregor describes Gil's hootenanny, an annual May Day sing-along that took place online this evening featuring musicians from across Canada. The event included the first-ever "Cross-Canada Musical Relay" that featured musicians from across the country performing different parts of Tony Turner's 'Circle of Song' in real time. Andrea Usworth provides some sage advice to coping with the current situation in harmony with the world of nature. Hour 2: Natural wisdom correspondent Andrea Usworth shares some ideas on foraging for food and talks about tasty treats she is finding in the woods in springtime. Robbie Anderman reminisces about founding Morninglory Farm, a cooperative community in the Killaloe area, in 1969. He also talks about his love of trees and his book, The Healing Trees, available at www.healingtreesbook.com. A musician and instrument builder, Robbie shares some music and comments on the need for sustainable local food sources.
