Friday October 11th, 2019 with Chris White, Barb Gray and Alecks Charron
Evan Garrow, Luke Letourneau, Lindsay Arnold, Alison Wearing, Kevin Harvey (Durham County Poets), Melissa Willis (Wakefield Doc Fest), Jim McNabb (‘The Boys in the Band’)

Evan Garrow is an Ottawa-based visual artist and musician who has been hosting multi-media music events and creating opportunities for other artists to connect and showcase their work. Lindsay Arnold's Music Pick (LAMP) today shines a spotlight on British singer-songwriter, Kate Bush. Author, playwright and musician Alison Wearing calls in from Mexico to talk about the Cervantino Festival which is the largest arts festival in Latin America. She also talks about the way living part of the year in Mexico helped her deal with post-partum depression. We chat with Kevin Harvey, lead singer of Durham County Poets. They celebrate their fourth album, 'Hand Me Down Blues', at the Black Sheep in Wakefield tomorrow evening. Barb Gray's Friday Arts Report features: (a) Melissa Willis, the director of Wakefield Doc Fest – Oct. 18-20, website http://wakefielddocfest.ca; and (b) Jim McNabb, co-director of TotoToo’s production of ‘The Boys in the Band’, Oct. 9-19, website: https://tototoo.ca.
