The City of Ottawa has proclaimed tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 14, to be David Wiffen Day. The day will include a two-hour special on 'Canadian Spaces' tomorrow morning, and a 90-minute tribute concert at CityFolk tomorrow evening featuring Lynn Miles, Tom Wilson, Sneezy Waters, Neville Wells, Julie Corrigan, Sandy Crawley, Frank Koller, Ray Harris and Don Marcotte.
Visual artist and sculptor Claude Latour has designed a beautiful "moose antler" bench that will be installed on the west side of Ottawa's new Flora Footbridge next month.
