It’s very poignant hat the Nobel peace prize winners announced today are both fighting sexual violence.

“The 2018 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded on Friday to two campaigners against wartime sexual violence: Dr. Denis Mukwege, 63, a Congolese gynecological surgeon; and Nadia Murad, 25, who became the bold voice of the women who survived sexual violence by the Islamic State.”

Is this the guest who would speak about the Supreme Court overturning the rule on the ‘intoxication’ defense?

Who was the guest on that had to leave at 8.30? I apprecaited her candid and intelligent commentary regarding the Kavanaugh case. It would be good to mention the name and credentials of your guest upon entry and exit.

Mike, good point. Our guest was Amy Kishek, Grievance & Adjudication Officer with the Public Service Alliance of Canada. Amy was filling in on short notice for another guest. We were unable to reach Amy prior to the moment she called into the program. I certainly should have opened with asking her to introduce herself with respect to how she came to be suggested to fill in for our previously scheduled guest.
