Judy Lincoln is the manager of Ten Thousand Villages Ottawa. Ten Thousand Villages was created 60 years ago. Volunteers have operated a church sale in Ottawa for at least 40 years, and since 1999 a TTV store has operated in Ottawa with an almost-entirely-volunteer staff. Musician Jill Zmud manages Folk Music Ontario's ArtBeat community outreach program (learn more here: http://www.folkmusicontario.ca/about-folk-music-ontario/art-beat-fmo-outreach/) and Treasa Levasseur runs FMO's Youth Mentoring program, which offers young musicians and presenters the opportunity to spend a weekend with an established figure in the folk and roots music world to learn, perform and share experiences. The program is now seeing previous graduates return to the conference as established artists themselves, and continue to foster the growth of the scene in Ontario and beyond.
