Canada's longest running Reggae radio program presents: Saturday, March 5, 2016, 3:00-5:30 pm EST Launches its 40th Anniversary Celebration with Music Dropped into my Mailbox, Riddims, Singles, Oldies but Goodies LISTEN HERE (Program available by 6:00 pm on demand for 700 days at the same link) Celebrating 40 years in your ears in 2016. Join your host Junior Smith. Canada's longest running Reggae radio program presents: Saturday, March 5, 2016, 3:00-5:30 pm EST As you may be aware, Jamaicans elected a new government recently. On March 3, Andrew Holness was installed as Prime Minister. This is significant for several reasons. He is the first leader to be born post-independence, he is the youngest and only leader to be inaugurated twice as prime minister, and he holds the slimmest majority of any government elected in Jamaica. And so, Reggae in the Fields has decided to pre-empt some of its music programming today in the first hour to broadcast a portion of this historic civic occasion. We will still however feature some music dropped into my mailbox, singles and oldies but goodies after the first hour of the program. Please tune in.
