Niall is absolutely right James, except for the "this is a test" that is from 1981, all of this amazing American Eurodisco is from 1978.

This is what Nudisco tries, and usually fails, to emulate. It took a specific group of people and influences and an atmosphere to create these tracks, and it's unknown if it can ever be done all-new again...

Cerrone was a studio drummer who hired side musicians - Boris Midney is a composer and a producer/engineer and an instrumentalist - sax, keyboards.. So pls make a note Alan Jones of Tomb Raider fame said it all in Saturday Night Fever - the story of disco co-authored by DJ Jussi Kanton - Boris Midney is the worlds greatest composer/producer. Then and now.

Thank you J Mack. I still enjoy Cerrone, but for different reasons than I appreciate Midney, or Moroder, or even Meco. It's a lovely farmer's market of eurodisco, and the best diet is a varied one. :)

Except that "Love In C Minor" is an Alec R. Costandinos song. Alec wrote and produced the song for Cerrone.

Love in C Minor" was actually produced by Alec R. Costandinos. Cerrone paid him to do it. Nothing that Boris Midney did is shit. NOTHING!!!
