The Groove has helped me appreciate every different style of disco. In 1975, i was 17 and sneaking into the discos in Hull, Touraine. Disco Viva was the big one but there were a lot of different little discos everywhere. In basements and stuff. It was fun. But it seemed to die down. The Groove has provided the history of disco that i was missing. Thanks.

Robert P - Thank you for the kind comment. I do my best, yet with all of the respect I get from far and wide, I'm the first to admit that I don't know everything about disco with all of it's many styles and categories. I am still learning about it all. I went to Disco Viva (I met my personal universe there) and also Club 333, Sacs Disco Bar, Le Tempo, Le Soleil, Best Bar, and on and on. Hull was amazing in the 1970's! All the best.
