Been listening to this show since early '84! Was 9 years old. Stumbled across it while scanning the dial one snowy Saturday afternoon. I still have the tape! Thank you Mr. Cain for introducing me to hip-hop, electro, house & SO many other types of underground dance/disco/urban music. Am looking for anyone that may have tapes of The Groove from 1979 to 1990. javajoelmurphy AT gmail.com. I have a few from 1984 & 1985.
