Can radio be an addiction?

10:12 AM, November 22nd, 2025
Sonny Aiken (host)
JP, I think it depends on the frequency. ;)

I wanted to start listening to the show on an actual radio and found one for sale - “1$ Volume Stuck on Full”. It was a deal I just couldn’t turn down! The show sounds great from here! Keep it up!

I have 2 old school radios (blasters) for outside in my rather large garden and a Bose Wave Radio (real radio) for inside the house which kicks on as soon as I get up...before I make coffee. In late autumn, the 2 outdoor radios come inside and play all 3 during the day for that "max radio sound" you only get from "old school radios" !

Just known as "Chicken Bones". When I was young, yes. Even in Ottawa.

11:49 AM, November 22nd, 2025
Benoît
Get yer chicken bones while you can! Sez the wiki: "Chicken Bones is a line of candy products manufactured by Ganong Bros. of St. Stephen, New Brunswick, and available in Canada. A pink cinnamon-flavoured candy with a chocolate filling, it is considered a traditional treat among Atlantic Canadians during Christmas. Due to its popularity, it is the sole remaining hard candy manufactured by the company." Yow. Hard candy is a hard OUT.

@TripleD. Im still tidying up crap from the 50th, but I'm digging the lack of pressure. I still have a lot to do with archives, the book, and my stupid show. 🤣

Apparently there's a distillery near Hartland, NB that makes a chicken bone Liqueur. I've tried their apple pie moonshine, which was lovely. I imagine chicken bone liqueur would go well with vodka and chocolate milk!

Good ol' David Francey! He could do this singin', and found it was easier than doing construction-renovation. He used to say on-stage, many years ago.

Another interesting tid bit of info, Benoit. Thanks.
