this 'n that - a mosaic of Canadian Folk

Good morning all! This morning is reserved for music - a mosaic of Canadian Folk Roots and anything that boarders folk. I tried to bring to your ears a potpourri of songs - not only what we think of so often when we think of Canadian Folk. SO here's some old, some (almost) new, some borrowed (a few might be covers) and some blue (as in sad). Definitely some happy in here too (for instance Lie Down, which you'll hear live done by the Monroe Sisters if you come to Bluegrass Mondays on Dec 5 at 7:30pm at Red Bird Live on Bank. We start with something truly new... Shelley Posen with his warm melodic voice and his fabulous songwriting - from his new album Old Loves we open today's show with I Missed You In My Dreams Last Night. NOTE: In my spoken comments I said that I thought the album "Ron Hynes" was bootleg. I stand corrected - it's a Borealis release. My apologies to Borealis - label of so many amazing Canadian releases.

Yes, I said I thought it was. Was it not? I remember him saying (I thought that one) was bootleg. Am I wrong?
