Jack Pine releases his new album "Left To Our Own Devices" in vinyl form at The Record Centre this afternoon at 2:00 pm. John Allaire performs a few songs and talks about the start of the 7th season of his Saturday afternoon concerts at Quinn's Pub. The 6 members of Chug Bucket from Toronto are in the studio to chat and perform. They're in a concert tonight at The Cross On Elgin on a bill that also features Mary Gick & Chris White and a duo called Sunset Visions featuring Natalie L'amour on vocals and "Farsley Barnuckle" on electric ukulele. We also talk with Arthur McGregor. He'll be at Brewer Park tomorrow (Sunday) from 11:00 am till 1:00 pm as part of a free event called TreeFest Ottawa (see http://treefestottawa.org/2017-tree-festival-program). In addition to performing, Arthur will lead a free beginners' ukulele workshop where he will supply the instruments.
