Mary-Sue Doug Cardinal has said that the Harper government had wanted to privatize the Chaudiere islands and gave big bucks to a Toronto law firm which is behind the so-called 'Algonquins of Ontario'... we need to follow the money and find out is this sale was even legal...

Mary-Sue Meanwhile, blasting being done on the Chaudiere Islands is breaking tree roots on Victoria Island which has the same geological formation... And the NCC wants to take away the wood but the Indigenous Mothers who are holding vigil for their murdered daughters need the wood. What everyone can help do: contact NCC & ask them to give that wood to the First Nations people "in ceremony" there.
Also, anyone in the area can go visit the encampment there and learn more about the issues.
