Grassroots Festival, Dave Gunning, Trevor Alguire
The 3rd annual Ottawa Grassroots Festival takes place April 25 to 27 at the Montgomery Legion, this weekend. All daytime activities are free, and there are lots of opportunities for active participation - see www.ottawagrassrootsfestival.com. Interviewees from the festival include Bob Nesbitt, Trish Murray, Shelley Ann Morris, Grace Smith and Arthur James Keelaghan. The show also includes a visit from Dave Gunning from Nova Scotia who plays the NAC Fourth Stage this evening. We also chat with Trevor Alguire who celebrates his new CD "Miles Away" at the Avalon Theatre in the Glebe this evening.
