Since New Year's is coming up, I thought it would be time to play Murray McLachlan's New Year song. When I heard this I thought it deserved to be a Canadian anthem as it's forward-looking and uplifting. Probably other Canadian artists have written songs related to these theme. So I hope to hear them next week if anyone has them on albums.

Let's also include David Campbell. I think his music is exceptional for its ability to reconnect the listener to Nature, which would be a good stance on which to start 2014. He has songs on his YouTube channel (username: Marakakore) which may not be on albums ... or not yet. For something really different you could start with his Earth Chant. "Making the Circle Grow" which is welcoming and inclusive as folk music is.
