I'd only run across "etiolated" in French (étiolé), up to now. Pretty fancy in English, -- and harder to say, actually.

(pls edit out comma after "English')

Totally awesome electronic effects. It fondly reminds me of my childhood when I collected and enjoyed electronic music composer records and mothers of invention lps.

Re: "etiolated nostalgia": I've concluded people in my age group (mid 50's) who believe the only music worth hearing are those most popular bands of the 70's really don't like music at at all. It was great music, but the appeal to them has more to do with living vicariously thru achievements of bands they can consider to be of "their generation" or with incidentally associating the music to teen year glory days. But they can't recognize or appreciate good music for music's sake or they wouldn't be taking that position.

That's not entirely true Terence.

12:58 PM, June 16th, 2017
No, Elorious, it's not "entirely" true. They may also not be paying close enuf attention to newer music, as John has said. But what I said is often true because there are so many guys my age who want to hear nothing but classic rock over & over. And I can't budge them to even consider even the great obscure stuff from the 60's/70's that's emerged to easier accessibility in recent years - like The Visit by Bob Smith as one example (one of my favs). Never mind Vibravoid. Why? That's all I meant to say.
