Local artists over the years

Last call... Over 20 years ago old co-host Jean Thibault said we should do radio. Sure I said. Well we toiled in the practice studio for about 2 years until Ron Sweetman recognized us from frequenting the Victoriaville music festival and asked us to fill in a few shows. Sean who had a program at CKCU even before Infinite Ceiling began joined the ranks a few years ago. Now some 20 years later this is the final broadcast of Infinite Ceiling. It's been a privilege to have been allowed into your homes and ears for these past 2 decades. This week is a salute to the local artists who were kind enough to either perform live or come into the studio for an interview or curate a program.

On behalf of Sean and Jean I want to say thank you to all the fabulous CKCU staff and supporters of the show for all these years. Hope you have discovered some new music experiences during these 20 odd years... I remain humbled by the experience and have got to meet so many people through the sharing of music. There will be a few more repeat programs posted and still many, many hours available on the CKCU website. Thank you again.

Heartbroken to learn even the Ceiling is finite! You will be missed, and all the more I will cherish my cassette recordings of the early Butterflies & Zebras appearances on the show. Thanks for the many great years and good luck to you all. "everyone comes to the freak show but nobody laughs when they leave"
