New Liquid Tension Experiment finds them in fine form. Nice to see Portnoy, Petrucci, and Rudess working together again, and Tony Levin keeps bringing it into his 70s.

This new Raphael Weinroth-Browne track was pre-recorded for use in a Leprous livestream (so it fits in a progressive metal set!), and he felt it holds up well enough to release on its own. Grab it here: https://raphaelweinroth-browne.bandcamp.com/album/affliction

The Pain of Salvation track is from the late-2000 remix of The Perfect Element, which came out originally in 2001. Pain of Salvation headlined the first prog festival I helped organize, so there's definitely a soft spot there.

We close the set with the newest LTE single from the new album, which releases March 26th.

Magma guitarist James Mac Gaw, whose solo album Mark played just last week, has passed away this week after a long illness. We celebrate his contribution to progressive music with this rendition of MDK from the Trianon Trilogie in 2000, which features the core of maybe the best Magma lineup of them all.

I thought I recognized Magma. I've played them myself on the air when Claude Engel was guitarist.

Awesome, Terry. No shortage of guitar talent in that group through the years.
