This year's Ottawa Jazz Festival kicks off next Thursday, June 23, and runs to Sunday, July 3. The festival's new Programming Manager, Petr Cancura, joins Janis on the Guest List to talk about the festival's exciting line-up. The Mighty Popo is raising money to start a music festival in Kigali, Rwanda’s capital. The inaugural "Kigaliup!" festival takes place September 9-11, 2011 in Rwanada. Both funds and volunteers are needed to get this event off the ground. The Mighty Popo, the Hammerheads, Remesha Drums, and special guests will perform in Ottawa at St. Bridget's Centre for the Arts, 310 St. Patrick St., on Wednesday, June 22 to raise money for Kigaliup!
