Ian Tamblyn has a fascinating way of journeying out into the world and then transmuting those journeys into art. A photographer, adventurer, playwright, record producer and musician, he brings passion and adventure to everything he does, whether it's driving Zodiak inflatable boats in polar extremes or mixing down his latest tracks in the recording studio. Ian visits CKCU-FM's studios today for a chat with Janis Lockwood and, of course, some music. His latest CD, Te Na Gadino, features songs from three of Ian Tamblyn's plays: "Bridge to the Past," "A River Runs Through Us," and, "A Summer A Fair," known collectively as The Gatineau Triology. Looking to the future, Ian gives CKCU listeners a sneak preview of some as yet unfinished tracks that will evolve and eventually appear on his next recording.
