Looking at some highlights from the Ottawa Chamber Music Festival (July 26 - Aug 9) in its first week. A definite highlight the first week are rare performances of chamber masterpieces from Bela Bartok: his tense, dramatic, and exciting Sonata for 2 pianos and percussion this Saturday at noon; and his 5th String Quartet this Monday at 3 p.m. More information at:
