For the first hour we journey from Moroccan inflected Senegalese music through contemporary Congolese music based on traditions from the Kasai region, followed by location recordings of the Kasai Luba from the 1950's, followed by Congolese and Malian nods towards Cuban music before arriving back in Senegal and finishing with the enormously powerful drums led by Doudou N'Daiye Rose.
