Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, 25 years since you slipped the bonds of this mortal existence! How I miss you dearly! You remain forever peerless, how I miss you dearly! Thank you for the enormous amount of recordings you left us in your short life, how I miss you dearly!
Today, we bookend the show with two lengthy renditions of poems by Bulleh Shah (1680-1757), perhaps Nusrat's favourite poet.
