| There have been many commentaries comparing the revolutionary fever burning through the Arab world today to the revolutionary waves through Europe in 1848-9. The revolutions of 1848, particularly in Hungary, ultimately ended in failure. And here are two of Liszt's most profound musical reactions to it.
