The main piece on today's show is a jugalbandi on the santur between father and son Pandit Shivkumar Sharma and Rahul Sharma. This is a full performance of the Raga Janasammohini with alap, jor, jhala followed by three compositions in three different rhythmic cycles. Glorious improvisation on this beautiful instrument which is still rare in Hindusthani music.
