Leslie combines her passion for songwriting and storytelling with powerful alto vocals with depth and range, and her performance goal is simple: to engage the audience, and tell compelling stories through songs that connect with listeners:
“So many of my original songs are inspired by coaching clients I’ve worked with, and the coaching practices I design as part of their programs. Music is such a powerful storytelling force for humans, and because we learn most effectively through stories, music has the power to help us connect to our own truth through the stories of others’ experiences.”
Leslie has performed many musical genres: Rock, Blues, Funk, R&B, Pop, Roots, Swing, and Jazz. She has performed with popular Ottawa groups Three Times Lucky, Cougar, Leslie Rohonczy Band, That Seventies Band, Vinylogic, Moondogs, The Runes, 8 To The Bar! and Girls Like Us.
Leslie has twelve years of Royal Conservatory training in piano and music theory. She also plays saxophone, flute, ukulele, and a myriad of percussion instruments. Leslie is also a certified Integral Master Coach™.
