Lukas Romsicki

Lukas Romsicki is a volunteer video producer at CKCU.  He is currently the producer/director of CKCU's Live Off The Floor web music video series on the station's YouTube channel, working alongside a passionate team of other volunteers.  Lukas is also leading CKCU's expansion into visual radio, helping to enable the station to serve and connect with the next generation of listeners through video.

While computer scientist by profession, Lukas is passionate about the arts and has been operating cameras for about as long as he could walk, including many years of freelance work with local musicians, bands, artists, and nonprofit organizations.  On occasion, Lukas also acts as technical director, mixes audio, and designs lighting for musical theatre productions at local schools.

Lukas has a long-running connection to CKCU and attended CKCU's Radio Camp as a kid!

Before jumping into professional (and volunteer) life, Lukas received an Honours BSc with Distinction in Computer Science from Carleton University, and participated in a three-year digital broadcasting program in high school.
