YEAR STARTED: 1976

Fromn 1976 to 1978, I wrote ads and became Ad Production Manager. My CKCU job was made redundant by a CRTC decision that banned produced advertising (because, in the words of the CRTC, Radio Carleton's ads suffered from "an excessive degree of professionalism").

I got over it and went on to a different life. 44 years later, after my retirement, I re-enlisted in The Mighty 93. I became a Board member and Treasurer, but gave it up because I don't play well with others. I recently completed a stint working as Alumni Email Harvesting Technician for the 50th Anniversary Committee. At the anniversary event, I single-handedly re-introduced the little-known World Of Tomorrow Punch. A good time was had by all.
