"Bedtime Stories" Tuesday evenings 2200-2300

Hello, after first hearing CKCU-FM within a couple of days of arriving in Ottawa in August 1981, I became an announcer here in 1982.  (The profile picture - taken in summer '82 - is a lot better than the one taken for the 50th Anniversary in November 2025!)

After starting off with the usual stint of overnighters for a few months, I hosted "Rockers Anonymous" - a Friday evening thematic show from 1983 to August 1986 - and also presented a 2 hour general music show on Tuesday evenings.

Since moving back to the UK in Sept 1986 (for work reasons) I've always said to myself: "I've left Canada for now, but I've never, ever left CKCU".  Over the years, whenever I am in Canada to visit friends and family, I've always presented a show or 2, filling in for absent hosts.

These days, since the COVID pandemic, you'll hear me presenting Bedtime Stories every Tuesday evening.
