Jas Nasty

Jas Nasty (she/her) is an eclectic vinyl DJ that draws from various musical genres and influences and enjoys playing with the connections between them.

Jas started in radio at Trent Radio in Peterborough in 2000, and began DJing in 2002. In 2005 she founded WOW MTL (Women on Wax Montreal - an all women DJ crew and event series) with Cyan/ CMD.

 Now in Ottawa, she continues to DJ events and fill the airwaves with her love of collecting and sharing good music, old and new, as one of the hosts of Heavy Friends. Jas started hosting the show in 2017, at the request of the original show host, Lady Mary.
