This spring, Hire Immigrants Ottawa (HIO) is offering an information session for local employers to enhance their ability to address talent shortages and to learn about cross-cultural competency training for hiring managers and staff with HR responsibilities.

The session will focus on the changing demographics of Ottawa’s labour force and how these will affect local employers. It will also offer tools and resources to help employers stay competitive by tapping into a rich source of local talent — skilled immigrants living in Ottawa.

HIO is a community-based initiative that works with local employers to enhance their organization’s capacity to effectively hire and integrate skilled immigrants in the workplace.
