Carleton Celebrates Women in Science and Engineering

As part of Research Days, Carleton University is hosting an inaugural Celebration of Women in Science and Engineering (CU-WISE). The evening will showcase Carleton graduate students, faculty and alumni speaking about intriguing research topics ranging from 4G networks to sub-zero survival for animals. The presenters will also discuss key issues of importance in this field, including how to interest more young women in pursuing a career in this field.

Members of the public are invited to attend this free event from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 8 in Room 5155 Herzberg Physics Building on the Carleton campus. Seating is limited.
