The Aboriginal Family Festival - Aboriginal Children and Youth Traditional Pow Wow: Honouring Our 13 Moons begins on Sat., March 27, with grand entry at noon, followed by baby welcoming, tiny tot dances, specials and an evening social.
On Sunday, March 28, grand entry is at noon and giveaways at 5 p.m. There will also be evening entertainment with performances by the Young Woman’s Water Drum Group, Young Metis Jiggers and Inuit Throat Singers. To end the day’s activities will be a Hand Drum Competition, men and women’s categories.
