Community Event

Stephen Lewis will deliver a public talk as part of The People vs. Cancer 2010 Ontario Speaking Tour. Mr. Lewis will promote the participation of everyday people in gaining control over their lives and well-being, drawing on lessons learned in the global movement against HIV-AIDS. He will speak at 3:00 p.m. in the Bell Theatre of the Minto Centre at Carleton. The Tour is organized by the Campaign to Control Cancer (C2CC), which is searching for new ways to inspire young people to think about innovative ways to battle cancer. C2CC is also launching a series of Community Conversations for this purpose. Students who are interested in participating in these Conversations can contact outreach@controlcancer.ca.
