Carleton University is celebrating Research Days, 33 days of outstanding and world-changing work from our innovative researchers. From March 18 to April 19, Carleton will be staging public lectures, conferences, films and project demonstrations to give the public an opportunity to experience the breadth and depth of research activities at the university.

Joan DeBardeleben, Chancellor's Professor, Institute of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies and Director of the Centre for European Studies (CES) will present the Davidson Dunton Research Lecture From Walls to Fences: Understanding Europe's New East-West Divide in the Senate Room, Robertson Hall, at 4:00 p.m. The talk is free and open to the public. Carleton has vast expertise in both Russian and EU Studies, including the designation of CES as an EU Centre of Excellence (EUCE) and co-ordinator of the Canadian EUCE network.
