Carleton’s Department of Housing and Conference Services and the Student Experience Office are pleased to be organizing and hosting the Seventh Annual ‘Big Brothers Big Sisters Comes to Carleton’ Day on Saturday, March 13, 2010.
Big Brothers Big Sisters Ottawa supports and enables girls and boys, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to achieve their full potential as young women and men by providing opportunities for them to form positive relationships with adult volunteers through a variety of one-to-one and group programs.
We are once again joining student volunteers with up to 60 participants from Big Brothers Big Sisters Ottawa for a day of fun events, including ice-breaker activities, lunch at the Fresh Food Company, swimming at Athletics and activities in the Ravens Roost. This day has kindly been sponsored by Aramark and Carleton’s Department of Athletics and Recreation, the Purchasing Department, The Office of Student Affairs and the Rideau River Residence Association.
