Hosted next to Parkdale Market, our Right to Food Block Party is a free, family-friendly event that brings the uplifting energy of our Community Kitchen to Hintonburg.
Here's what you can expect at this year's Block Party:
A vibrant dining experience - you are invited to share a meal and connect with your Neighbours. With music and live entertainment in the background, you will enjoy a high-energy dining experience like the one at our Community Kitchen. Food will be served free of charge thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and donations will be asked of those with the means to give.
Live music and family-friendly entertainment - enjoy a live performance by Juno nominated, Canadian folk singer, Craig Cardiff, and interactive activities that show Neighbours how we can realize the Right to Food for all.
Learn about our programs - Take a tour of our Mino’Weesini Grocery Program and learn about our innovative approach to making food accessible.
Join your community and together, we will combat growing food insecurity.
