Get ready to swing your way into a fun-filled evening with the Ottawa Swing Dance Society! Whether you're an experienced dancer or a newbie, we've got you covered. Join us in the basement hall of St Joseph’s Parish and get ready to meet some friendly new faces while dancing the night away!

☛ Our evening starts off with an hour-long beginner lesson, perfect for those who haven't danced before. No partner? No problem! We switch dance partners often during the lesson, so you'll have the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. Lindy hop is a social dance which means we emphasize meeting people and socializing. And with 2.5 hours of DJed social dancing to follow, you'll have plenty of time to show off your new moves and have a blast.

☛ To help preserve our dance floor and ensure maximum movement, we recommend bringing a pair of clean, dry, flat indoor shoes such as sneakers, flats or oxfords.
