International Women's Day - Feminist Mixer

How are you celebrating International Women's Day this year?? The Feminist Twins in partnership with International Women's Day Ottawa and our sponsors are inviting you to celebrate IWD at our Feminist Mixer!

It's happening at Club Saw (67 Nicholas St) on Tuesday, March 10th from 6:30pm to 9pm. This event is open to everyone! There will be free treats on site, a coloring table for kids and people who like to color, music, photobooth and more! There will also be a few short speeches and land acknowledgement starting at 7:30pm. Speeches will be in french and english. We will have an ASL interpreter for speeches in English. Beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available by purchase.

This event is free, but if you would like to contribute, we will be accepting funds at the event, or you can donate through the Feminist Twins website. All funds collected will go toward next year's event.

We want to also encourage folks to share who is their local feminist hero! Share your local feminist hero or grassroots groups on social media between March 8-10th and tag Feminist Twins! We will also create space for folks to for folks to share at the event as well. Let's share and learn about all the folks doing amazing work in Ottawa!

This space has two gender neutral washrooms.
We ask that folks limit any fragrances for those with sensitivities.
This space can be accessed by wheelchair.
Please do not take anyone's photo without their consent.
Paid parking is available across the street at the Rideau Centre, or there is some street parking in the area.

We will have an ASL interpreter for the speeches portion of the night
