Unitarian Fellowship Hall, 400 McArthur Ave.

The Spirit of Tony Turner Award Concert will honour accessibility activist, festival volunteer and radio host Shelley Ann Morris for her service in creating opportunities for local musicians.

The concert, presented by Spirit of Rasputin's, Folkzone and CKCU FM, will feature singer-songwriters Tony Turner, Chris MacLean and Julie Corrigan performing in a song-circle format.

Award recipient Shelley Ann Morris has done outstanding work in making physical venues and online music resources more accessible for musicians and audience members with various kinds of disabilities. Tony Turner is best known for his 2015 "Harperman" protest song and video. Chris MacLean's 30-year career has taken her around the world making music in folk/roots, world, jazz and Americana styles. Julie Corrigan's Ottawa Valley upbringing inspired much of her debut album "The Language", which was the most-played on CKCU FM in 2015.

Tickets to the SofTTie concert are $20, available online at rasputins.org
