Spring is in the air! Which means creeps are out in full force.
Join us, and cities around the world, as we mark International Anti-Street Harassment Week by chalking up the streets of Ottawa!
We'll bring the chalk, you bring the energy. (But if you have chalk to spare, it can't hurt!)
In anticipation of the usual questions:
1- Yes, the event is open to anyone who shares in our mission of a harassment free city! People of all genders, ages and abilities are welcome. THIS IS A KID FRIENDLY EVENT. Feel free to bring your pets, too!
2- Yes, this is perfectly legal! Chalking on sidewalks in public space is 100% legal in Ottawa.
3- THIS EVENT IS WEATHER DEPENDENT. If Mother Nature keeps dumping snow on of us (*sob*), or it rains, the event can't go down. so please check this event page by NOON the day of the event for a confirmation that it's still a go.
