A Mindful Woman - Supporting the Women's March Ottawa 2019
7:00 PM on Thursday Jan. 10th, 2019
Metta Movement & Meditation Studio, 5 Hamilton Ave. N.
Price: Suggested donation $30 - $50

Join us for a powerful evening of mindfulness, compassion and connection in community that will charge us up ahead of the March. Proceeds go to the operational costs of the March itself which this year runs from Parliament Hill to the Aberdeen Pavilion at Lansdowne Park.

Mindfulness and compassion complement resistance by helping to focus our efforts and energy in a way that can inspire positive change. You will experience science - backed practises that will connect you to your own inner space, innate wisdom and leadership. You will also connect over drinks and appetizers (included) with the Executive Leadership of the Women’s March Ottawa. We will talk about why we march, the issues affecting women in Ottawa and how the Women’s March movement has an impact on gender inequality in Ottawa.

INNERSPACE is proud to be partnering with Metta Movement and Meditation and Grace Love Peace to raise funds for the Women's March Ottawa 2019. The mission of the Women’s March Movement in Canada is “Inspiring, uniting and leading the charge for the advancement of women across Canada”. This means ending violence and supporting reproductive rights, LGBTQIA rights, civil rights, disability rights, immigrant rights, and environmental justice.

No experience necessary. Come as you are. Space is limited so register soon. Suggested donation is $30 - $50 but pay more or less - whatever is right for you.
