Cards Against Misogyny!
6:30 PM on Monday Nov. 26th, 2018
Ottawa Coalition to End Violence Against Women (OCTEVAW), 250 City Centre Ave., Suite 602

The OCTEVAW social sub-committee is so excited to be bringing you another installment of Cards Against Misogyny. Do you love wordplay? Do you love smashing the patriarchy? Then this game is for you!

Everyone is welcome whether you’ve played before, or this is all new! Feel free to come on your own or in a team. We have once again partnered with the Happy Goat Coffee Co., so we can promise there will be delicious coffee and drinks for purchase. There are 2 accessible, gender-neutral washrooms.

We would also like to acknowledge that this event and all work we do in the community takes place on unceded Algonquin Territory.

Doors open at 6:30, event starts at 7:00. No tickets at the door!

November is woman abuse prevention month in Ontario. This event is part of Shine the Light, which is OCTEVAW's campaign to bring community awareness to violence against women and girls. The Shine the Light campaign was initiated by the London Woman Abused Women's Centre and is growing across Ontario and Canada as more communities get on board!
