Girls+ Rock Ottawa Vocal 101 workshop takes place in partnership with Kind Space, providing folks within the LGBTQ+ galaxy the opportunity to amplify their voices – literally! If you can sing in the car or in the shower, you can (and should) sing! This two hour vocal workshop will teach some vocal and ear-training basics! It will go through some of the science behind vocals, some warm-up and practice techniques, and put it all together with a song at the end. Leave with tools that, with practice, will help to increase vocal ability, musical ear, and confidence!
Girls+ Rock Ottawa stresses that no musical experience is required, just curiosity, passion, and positivity!
