Take Back the Night Rally, March, and Info Fair to be held at City Hall on September 20th, 2018.
Doors open at 5:30, and the program will start at 6:00!
The Women’s Event Network (WEN), a grassroots coalition of representatives from women’s organizations and interested women from the community, have come together to put on the 40th Take Back the Night March!
Take Back the Night raises public awareness on the issue of violence against women and help the public understand that it's time we stop telling women to avoid walking alone at night: We are taking back the night! This year is a special celebration for the 40th anniversary of the march.
We will also be hosting an info fair in an effort to connect community members with the many organizations that provide support for the community and advocate for the end of gender-based violence.
