Ask Women Anything is an intimate evening that features a panel of powerful and intelligent women who facilitate community discussion. For this event, Media Action has partnered with the Feminist Twins to present Game Changers: 4 women that Ottawa should know.

Panelists:

Kennedy Ryan: Kennedy Ryan is a stand up comedian from Ottawa. Kennedy also co-runs Swizzles comedy night, a weekly amateur stand up showcase and is the producer of Mass Hysteria, a feminist comedy series that has raised over $1400 for the Ottawa Rape Crisis Centre

Jennisha Wilson: Jennisha Wilson is the Alluriarniq Department Manager at Tungasuvvingat Inuit. Her interest in building meaningful relationships, community development and sexual health have afforded her many opportunities to work in solidarity with Indigenous and people of color groups in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.

Marilou Gagnon: Marilou Gagnon, RN, PhD is a nurse, scholar, feminist, and activist. She is an Associate Professor at the School of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Ottawa (transferring to UVic in July 2018).She is known for her advocacy, community engagement, and leadership in HIV and harm reduction nursing. She is very active on social media (you can follow her on Twitter: mlgagnon_XVII and Instagram: ml_gagnon) and has published in various media outlets such as Huffington Post, Le Presse, Le Devoir, Le Droit, Le Soleil, The Ottawa Citizen, The Georgia Straight, and the Globe and Mail.
